As long as they don't ban "almost U" turns from Mission onto Otis, something I've done many, many times and like that red SUV appears to be doing, I'm fine with it.

meant to mention one other intersection-related thing: noticed that on the east side of S Van Ness, they appeared to be widening the median where Mission kind of splits, as one half bends south to continue as Mission and the other continues straight on as Otis. this should make the pedestrian crossing feel a bit safer with a more extensive island in the middle. I don't know if that has implications for what a driver is allowed to do

Construction Wrapping Up For 30 Otis Street, SoMa, San Francisco
BY: ANDREW NELSON 5:30 AM ON JUNE 14, 2021

Construction is wrapping up on 30 Otis Street as the tower is preparing for move-ins later this summer. The SoMa development will add 416 new dwelling units to the San Francisco housing market, along with retail and an updated home for the City Ballet School. Align Development is the project developer.

Online listings for units within 30 Otis Street, now dubbed Chorus, show that a portion of the dwelling units will be available starting this August . . . .

The public listings show prices range from $3,050 per month for a studio to $7,195 per month for a three-bedroom unit.

[The Hub . . . as imagined]

I’ve always wished the city would build out that tiny triangular sliver on the west corner and turn it into a small park or dog run.

Makes me wonder if they should've gone with a mini Columbus Circle style roundabout for this intersection.

My problem is I just don't see much "greenspace". Mostly I see pavement and not an unusual amount of that now that the city is putting "bulbouts" at most corners.
