Bellissimo! One of my favorite cities. Hoping to get back to Rome (or at least somewhere in Italy) next summer.

Never been but it’s on my list! The photos are beautiful! I’m particularly impressed with how pedestrians are given priority over cars. Such a walkable city! We can only dream that could occur in the US—land of mega-size SUVs and pick-up trucks!

Great photos! I haven't been to Rome since the 1990s---looks like it hasn't changed much. Just kidding!

Again, very beautiful photos! Thanks for sharing them.

Fantastic set. I see you like cacio e pepe, a favorite of mine. Had the single best example of the dish in the Jewish Ghetto at a hole in the wall restaurant. I love Rome. Been twice and could go back 100 times more. These pics took me right back there. Thank you

Fantastic photos! You're brave to head there in June. I can't stand strong sunshine and heat, but I definitely plan on visiting in the spring or fall in the next few years.

I also noticed the cacio e pepe in particular in this thread! If I go to a restaurant and it's on the menu, I have to order it.

Lovely. I just had a conversation with an acquaintance who just came back, but who had also visited previously. I suggested that he would not have wanted to see the same things twice, but he countered "you can't see things like the Trevi Fountain too many times".

Yes! Love cacio e pepe. Will have to explore the Jewish Ghetto next time for sure.

Yeah, the weather was overbearingly hot at times. I don't do too well in warm weather. It was still well worth the trip, but we'll definitely be going in the spring or fall next time
