That's a great little plaza. I like it more than I thought I would.

There are also 2 other panels on the west side and south side (crown) that need replacing.

405 Colorado is much worse tho (in regards to missing/broken glass).

The West Side panel in the crown has been replaced.

The color of the reflected blue glass in that last photo is amazing.

It's nice that they kept the original trees on 6th St instead of cutting them down only to end up planting smaller ones. Not that those trees are huge or anything, but still.

They're not tiny either - certainly better than sticks in the ground. I hadn't noticed that until you mentioned it.

The trees plus the stone and the wood paneling really give the base a nice hill country palette.

PURPLE!

Austin needs a purple skyscraper.

Are there any purple skyscrapers in the world?

Two I can think of in Melbourne:

Light House (purple panels and blue glass)

EQ Tower (actual purple glass):

I’m envious of Melbourne. I think purple is a must have for Austin now.

For any building to be named that they'd have to live up to the name. It would definitely have to be Austin's signature tower and it must have a crown.

That lobby is amazing, and makes great use of the natural light on the marble walls.

I really really like this building.

You should pass by it at night when the lights are on. This feels like a tower you'd see in a much bigger city, like SF, Chicago or so.
