The highest point in Seattle, according to Wikipedia, is in the High Point neighborhood, not too far from my apartment.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/West_Seattle#High_Point

It is apparently at an elevation of 520 feet.

I don't know if there are higher residential units in downtown, but the tallest building in Seattle is >900 feet, so it is entirely possible that there is a condo somewhere that is higher.

That should say Riverside MSA not county.

For LA metro the highest elevation neighborhood sits at ~6400ft in this little corner of Wrightwood just inside the county line:

The highest elevation neighborhood within city limits is going to be somewhere in the Sunland-Tujunga area at around 2200ft.

There is a house at the top of the highest point in Hays County (at the top of a not so prominent hill) in the Austin metro area, at 1640’ above mean sea level. There are houses in Luling that bottom out at 240’ feet along the San Marcos river. One wonders if they are actually still occupied, being a heavily and often flooded area.

So, 1400’ within the metro area. It’s probably around 1000’ within the city itself.
