The building is roughly 40% sold out of the 197 units with pricing starting at $379,000 for the SB floorplan which is 389sqft on the 9th floor.

Pricing for studio units is averaging about $1,000sqft and $800sqft for one bedroom units.

Today's Progress. I'm really looking forward to seeing some cladding and glazing on this one.

View from MacDonald Gardens Park. I believe the only part missing from the structure at this point, is the mechanical roof. kind of wish it was slightly higher.

Looking forward to seeing some cladding. Progress seems much slower than other towers going up o Rideau, but we know this will look far better than most.

Not a huge update from the last photo but I figured I would take a peek on the progress and try to grab a new angle.

I was surprised to see there wasn't a single piece of glazing or cladding up yet. I figured that would have got a start on that by now. Either way, I think it's pretty obvious from the variation on the formwork this building isn't going to be your average bear.

The tower appears quite tall and skinny from rideau station, especially with the Great Wall in the foreground:

Still no brick or anything yet but they must be getting close. Glazing is installed on the ground floor.

The fact that everything is scaffolded to me seems promising. The building directly across the street was all scaffold and that turned out very nice.

To me scaffold over a swing stage means a better quality or higher end finish. Speculating but I think that isn't an absurd line of thinking.

I'm very confident in Richcraft when it comes to fit and finish. This one will turn out well, I have no doubt.

Does anyone know what the deal is with the wrap? I don't think I have never seen a tower built like this in Ottawa before.

I love this development. This, plus the rental across the street are both very well-made and fit nicely into the area. Really look forward to seeing it come together.

They heard that this group has a hate on for grey brick, so they're keeping it covered until the big reveal when we can all go apoplectic at the same time?

Seriously, can you imagine if they took off the cover and all that gorgeous red brick from the renders was replaced with 'RLA Gray'???

the ownership issue with this very nice build is the lot on the South side -

it is hard to imagine that it will not be built up and so you really only have an open view to the East if you buy anything in the tower under the pool.

I really appreciate the attention to the cladding finish, and the builder providing 100% scaffold protection. Should provide for a quality product. Not like some other winter builds which shall remain nameless.
