Scotiabank branch closing

Heard yesterday that the King & Sherman branch of Scotiabank is closing. If this is true, it's bad news. Neighbourhoods need a real bank or credit union, not the blood-sucking payday loan companies.

When I lived in Oakville, both BMO and Royal Bank closed their branches on Kerr Street. Payday loan businesses moved in right away.

I wish we had a radial separation bylaw for payday loan stores
