Yeh but seeing North will have views of Central Park in part and imagine the view of 270 Park Ave!
I mean can't the owners of Vandy ask for the height to be reduced to 1000ft ish? For the observation deck? Gentleman's agreement?
270 Park Design has no problem with it probably. But depending on how slim is 270 Park might allow tourists to see some Billionaires Row supertalls and the park, and imagine putting Tower Fifth, well it is closer and probably might obstruct 111 W 57th if it was built.

I love when we get direct transit connections. To me that ties these buildings into the city even more so.

425 Park has a similar footprint and yet, Foster designed a beautiful tower.
I would doubt if KPF presents just another blue glass tower here. It will be a very sleek tower, whatever the case.
