Tannery Place South - Night time work being done inside all the units. View from the Sobeys parking lot on a Saturday night.

Both Sequoia and Yuzu Sushi hope to be open by January too. The opening date for Freshii is less certain.

I drive by this site about twice a week and it's now getting close to the finish line. It'll be nice when it's no longer a construction site and there's people living in the apartments. And the ground floor commercial will only add zing to the building.

A great project and a major addition to the neighbourhood.

I found this render of Tannery Place North on the Junction Urban Village website. This is a new one, and has not been posted on SSP previously:

I have had more than one person say to me the siding materials and colors of Tannery Place South are... "blah" and "Boring". I have to agree.

'Most' new construction in this city is blah and boring...to me anyway.

Well at least it's not 3-4 stories and vinyl siding...

Sequoia, or, soon to be known under their rebranded name - Wellness Exchange, plans to open at Tannery Place South on Saturday, January 2nd.

I can't remember but have they given a date as to when they're going to start construction on the Tannery Place North building? This current building seems very close to being finished.

No fixed date announced, but I imagine early spring. I think all the residential units are already spoken for.

Yes I believe they are fully leased as their web-site says "waiting list for Tannery Place North." I hope they can build the 2nd building faster than this one. I know it's a major project, but it seemed to take them forever to finish it!

I wonder how the Wellness Exchange made out today, their first day open at the new Junction location! I'm thinking they must have been busy.

I happened to drive by last evening and it was packed - presumably a private event.

I expect that site prep for Tannery Place North will begin in April, and that crane installation will occur shortly thereafter. They will want to be going full throttle on this by early summer.
