For a while I was wondering how they were going to fit everything from this project on this site(i.e. a set of townhomes on each side of the main building), but it does look like it is coming along nicely and with few delays as far as I know.

It's unfortunate they are using the concrete-block faux stone on the facade of the lower floors. A very unattractive material.

Interesting how buildings like this go together these days. To fill in the gaps between the reinforced concrete structure they use steel studs and styrofoam panels sandwiched between the exterior finishing material and the interior drywall. Not a whole lot of robustness there, but everyone does it this way now.

It is very similar to the one on South Street.

I like the fact that they're building townhouses on the sidestreets. The building's scale is also pretty good for that area.

Here's some pics I took today on the way home from work.

You can see Gladstone Ridge in the background.

Nice pics, thanks! I love that view from the Citadel. Its really starting to look filled in with some nice density to the northwest.

Those two projects alone should add alot of the right type of people to the area as well. Definitely a good neighborhood to buy a house right now.

Bigger tower pic from the Giffels website that I hadn't seen. Hopefully the finishing touches on this make the development seem of a higher quality.

Any new pics? If this project is slated to be finished in the spring and they still have the townhouses to build, I imagine the tower will be completed voer the winter?

I'll try and get some more pics this evening after work if i have the time.

They have begun working on the brick facade and have a small section finished. (the area circled in yellow). I think they are finished pouring concrete.

As well, when I went by this morning they were excavating the area where the princess place townhomes will be, so I can only assume the foundations will follow shortly.

A view from the ferry showing it's tiny impact on the skyline.

The brick work on the left-hand side (head on perspective) of the building is complete. I'll see if I can get home from work in time before it gets dark to take pictures tomorrow.

Also he foundations for the Princess Pl. town homes have been plotted and it looks like they will start puring concrete there soon.
