I missed this thread somehow, but great work!

Never been to Almonte despite having a number of friends from the place while I lived in Ottawa. I guess the town has (had?) quite the punk/hardcore scene for its size and everyone young person I met from there seemed to be in a band. Certainly seems more picturesque than Carleton Place, which I have been to on a few occasions.
