How is Pittsburgh not one of the most sought-after cities in the country? What does it lack? NOTHING.

We're still covered in soot Try changing the perception of 90% of the nation that we're still a Rustbelt Region industrial powerhouse.

Excellent!

That this is a mind boggling, blockbuster Pittsburgh group of photos is unquestionable.

An observation:

two US cities (IMHO) do hills better than any other: Pittsburgh and San Francisco. They manage to accomplish this in two different, but equally beautiful ways:

tightly packed San Francisco, gridded even through most of its hills, shows off its whitish/pastel Meditereranean homes seeming to organically grow from the ground and dominating the hillsides with greenery definitely taking a lesser role.

Pittsburgh's hills are often too steep for a grid and offer a rich forest-like canopy that makes for a totally lush setting for an urban center.

They imploded the 20'ish story project on the right hand side of this photo earlier this year, for those out of towners who haven't been here in a while.
