Probably get reduced on appeal, and then there is question is can the order be enforced to collect the order what ever amount it is?

Ya but at least it's going in this direction. Are there any cases still open against Katz or Babaka ... whatever? If one is guilty, the others must be too?

I wonder if this will increase the pressure on the province to act.

I have to say, I wasn't always super keen on Bowman (e.g. P&M referendum) but I was really glad that he stuck with this.

^ Good grief, the cause celebre of ten years ago has reared its head again. I thought we had all moved on from backyard chickens to pig farming in condos?

^ I love this idea. More chickens!

I filled out a survey recently about this. So I guess this is the result.

Not sure if it’s still there but there was a coop outside of Leila north school as of last fall. Must have been 20 birds in it.

The City is expanding its litigation around alleged fraud over the WPS HQ. Maybe it's time for a Charbonneau Commission here.

^ I noticed all the plywood on it earlier this week. It's weird, neighbouring buildings didn't get touched, just that one set somebody off for some reason.

Still lots of smashed windows around downtown. Wouldn't surprise me at all to find out it's the work of one or two people.

every building seems to get its due.. a few summers back was the royal bank part of the hydro tower, then union station had half its main street windows taken out, last year the royal bank by city hall, etc. The IG tower had 5-6 of its windows smashed out and they just replaced them with teal-coloured plywood so you barely notice..

Saw this while on the UM Website. Concept for the Vulcan Iron Works site in Point Douglas.

Very interesting thesis concept and pretty thoughtful programming. Great project.

More pictures in the article.

Could we not put all of the crime and homeless issues into this thread?
