They have made alot of progress now on digging out both the south and north side ramps back to the caisson concrete pilings. Should see the concrete forming started for the footings of the ramp walls and sidewalks as well as the storm sewer connections to the new pump house.

Gotta admit, this has moved along more than I thought it would have by this point.

They have installed some temporary paving for the road bed to reduce the mud over the upcoming winter months. Alot of concrete forming still to be done for both the ramp walls and the pump house station on the west side where the old car wash used to be.

Have now got the pump house structure built. Still alot of work left on the underpass sidewalls and sidewalks to be completed. Sadly the rail bridge steel has already been hit with taggers with spray paint. What is wrong with these people.

Apparently, the Adelaide underpass will be open to one lane of traffic in each direction, some time this month.

Wrapping up the west side underpass wall and sidewalk pours. Hopefully the city installs security webcams on this underpass once completed to deter the vandals who will try to spray paint the walls.

The time has finally come! The city will open one northbound lane, one southbound lane, and the west sidewalk under the Adelaide Underpass tomorrow.

"The next significant project milestone includes opening all (four) traffic lanes under the underpass and completing active transportation components later this summer. Restoration of park amenities will continue into the fall/winter and 2025 construction season."

Sadly the west walls already have alot of spray painted graffiti.

Hopefully all the new money being spent of the LPS will result in these criminals being caught and convicted and dealt with harshly. There is no way we should allow these criminals to get away with this vandalism without repercussions and convictions. The costs of cleaning it up and the message it sends to society are not acceptable.

Get the HD security web cameras setup on this ASAP to help identify and convict these people.

What is wrong with these idiots?

I have a bridge to sell you...

With decorum, this stupid sidestepping city wont do fuck all about it, until it becomes news. NEVER proactive. That is my take on how this city has and continues to operate. Fucking muppets happy with status quo ALL the ways

they're idiots, the people who can do things to arrest them are idiots, and the city that allows this nonsense to constantly happen are idiots.
