Brentwood has become quite the display when inbound on Hwy 1. When you come around the bend at Douglas Road - Bam!

Just thought that I would share Surrey's emerging skyline:

If you squint, you can see a crane working on Georgetown phase 1, which is a highrise neighbourhood with 7 towers proposed ranging from heights of 15 - 45 floors. Phase 1 is only a singular tower at this point. This is an example of one of the many highrises proposed in the downtown area.

Also: you can see the staging area and start of the the in-river falseworks for the new Patullo Bridge (where the near vertical white crane is on the Surry riverfront).

Obviously no where near the suburban skylines of Vancouver and Toronto, Barrhaven is quickly shaping up to be a third tier suburban skyline.

Mississauga planning is so strange, 55 storey tower U/C 150m away from an under construction tilt-up.

Port Credit, with TANU (15s) topping out

Port Credit is the southern terminus of the Hurontario LRT which will be near to Port Credit GO Station, so expect some TOD and other developments in this area in the future.

Port Credit, with Westport Condos (22s) in pre-construction and TANU in background:
