Spoke with a site manager the other day. It's a month til they are at grade and when I asked about the tower they said "the design isn't finalized yet" - they directed me to the photo on the hoarding for the most up to date rendering *rolleyes*.
RE the post above about them working on the last level below grade, I don't think so, it looks like they are still two levels down.
At the southwest corner of the site (King/Hughson) they have reached grade and are laying rebar before they pour the next slab. In the northwest corner of the site (King William/Hughson), it appears they have finished forming the pillars and walls on the final subterranean parking level. My pictures don't give a good look at the northeastern corner of the site (King William/John) but it looks like that is slightly further behind, with them working on the P1 level slab and/or P1 level pillars and walls.
I will endeavor to grab some better pictures showcasing the entirety of the site soon.
Really excited to see this finally go up. It’s going to have a huge, huge impact on the downtown, both from the extra population but also the great new retail spaces.
Cool photo thanks for sharing! Do we know how many if any retail units will face King William St? Hoping we get another restaurant or two.

I will contact the city again and ask for up dates plans.

I biked by yesterday and noticed the above grade columns along King. Here’s hoping things speed up soon!
What was the expected completion date again?
