The site's been well updated (some of the "Why Hamilton?" bit right off the Connaught site): http://www.hamiltongrand.ca. I love the elevators (under "Features")

A bigger peek:

It'll be interesting to see how much of the original facade is left for them to restore.

Wink The Hamilton Grand

Trust me.
This will be another grand facade in which a number of naive Hamiltonians will
be strung along a story line that will eventually read : "sorry, could not get the financing"

He just has a "rich-looking template" where he just types in the dreamboat-of-the-day as a headline and copy and pastes all the rest.

The only section that's the same as the Connaught website is the Why Hamilton section, might as well it's not like Hamilton changed overnight. The rest is all new that also includes pdf contracts so you can read the details yourself.

Am I the only one who gets the 'coming soon' screen when I click the link above?

The font and colours are pretty much the exact same.

Again, maybe it's just me. But if others aren't getting to the details of the Hamilton Grand, the below link will work http://www.hamiltongrand.ca/welcome.html.

The website isn't available to the general public yet that's why you get "Coming Soon" on the main page. Select limited people got to peek at the website using the address above.

The project is under review from the Ontario Security Exchange, it's an investment project as well, so publicly showing the project like the website address above could risk the project.

Everyone involved in construction who are suddenly faced with less demand will start competing for contracts soon enough.

Today Harry Stinson had a private preview of the Hamilton Grand project at the site office. Larry Di Ianni and Jack McDonald was there. The site office is nice.

Sales of the units for the public starts next week.

Would you happen to know the cost of a penthouse?

So Harry said 70% of the units must be sold before construction can start. There's 80 units in total and the project is half hotel and condo.

So I'm guessing there's 40 units available as condo. So 28 units need to be sold before construction can proceed.
