These two could be an icon for North York if quality finishes are used!

^ As long as Baziz doesn't cheap out on the curve and glass/cladding material like how they did to Crystal Blu. I don't have confidence in this developer yet, so hopefully they get their act together this time. I still find the podium to be a bit weak.

Shouldn't this be moved in the Highrise construction section now?

i honestly think this one might turn out to be a spandrel swamp., i'm not the biggest fan of the design of the towers with the podium and how they look on their chubby side. the ratio of from skinny sides to fat sides is too big, and on top of that, the curve's geometry doesn't add to it. of course i hope i'm wrong, but i'm more more excited to see Hullmark Centre.

But Emerald Park will definitely have the "wow" factor shape wise, if they look anything close to renders.

From the Bazis Website:

I also hope they don't cheap out on the curved tower profile and materials. Crystal Blu initially had a curved side but eventually became a dull, flat, rectangular tower. The curve on Emerald is actually the only interesting feature of this whole development. Without the curve, this is basically another non-descript NYCC condo.

Once the weather gets colder, I'll do updates of this one from my hideout in North York Centre and the underground there.

I was out at North York Centre this afternoon, should have grabbed an update. Probably another two months of excavation before they hit pay dirt.

Those houses will be worth millions of dollars each, by the time the next cycle hits. And of course they will turn into condo towers.

Emerald Park Condos. Not much going on, I think they are having water troubles or the ramp is not safe enough for dump trucks. These are the two theroys I've heard.

Pic's by me from Sunday February 05, 2012.

Let me guess, the second theory is that it's doomed because it's Bazis.
