this link is against Tower Construction

this link is against the construction of towers.

i do believe Phoenix should be more mindful of saving the desert now.

phoenix should grow up and not outwards.

This is just for the Phoenix Country Club condo tower they want to build at NE corner of 7th St and Thomas. There is a lot of local push back on it even though it would be built well off the main roads and it's not even all that tall (I think around 175'). I am for this tower. It's only 1/4' mile away from Century Link and that tower is 397'. Crystal Point is larger and it is towering above single family homes. No one seems to mind in that neighborhood.

But the Indian School/Central project will never get built as is. Phoenix will send this back to the drawing board as it doesn't conform to today's urban design codes: HUGE parking podium, large setbacks and two 490' towers right up against the Indian Steele park won't fly well with the locals. Those towers should be right on the street corner and the towers should scale down towards the park.
