For me it was between 2 and 5. 5 is insane. What kind of lens is that?!

Agreed, both of you. Both 2 and 5 are absolutely amazing, no doubt about it. Frankly, 1 and 4 are pretty damned good as well. I actually think that, given there were only 6 entries, they're quite good as a whole overall.

I'll be sure to push harder to get more entries for the next contest!

Looks like I'm in a position to break the tie. I'm having trouble deciding though.

I think overall I like 2 better because I love music. However, 4 has more of a wow factor, imo. Gaah!!

Scratch that. Didn't realize #5 was tied with #2. Went with 4 though, so the deadlock remains.

Oh darn. And I really wanted to vote for myself too. All these others are too good. I had trouble with picking either 4 or 5. Ended up voting for 5 because I like yellow.

Had to sit this one out as I was unable to upload while traveling. I'll participate in the next contest. Voted for 2. A well composed image that didn't follow the hive mind.

Tough call between #2 and #5. #5 looks to be technically better closeup, but #2 has something going on. I keep going back to look at it.

Looks like 2 is running away now. Maybe because 4 and 5 are splitting the bug vote?

Well, it seems that unless a ton of new votes come in for a different photo, #2's going to run away with the prize. What's the prize, you ask? Nothing physical, just the adoration of SSP photobuffs everywhere!

And the final results are as follows:

The winner by a large margin is Number 2 (Wooden Buddy), taken by Surrealplaces. Congratulations! As a result, Surrealplaces has the rights to name the subject matter of the next photo contest!

Second place goes to Number 4 (Colorful Landing), taken by yours truly. As a result, I win absolutely nothing!

Third place goes to Number 5 (Pollen Addict), taken by toyota74. Awesome shot, my friend!

Fourth place goes to Number 6 (Untitled), submitted by Doady.

Rounding out the list in Fifth place, Number 1 (Untitled), submitted by brickell. And not to be last, Sixth place, Number 3 (Untitled) goes to arkitekte.

Congratulations to everyone, and here's hoping for more submissions for the next photo contest!

Shit, I didn't know the contest was rebooted...
If I'd have seen this in time I would have voted #4...That's a great one glowrock.

Nice shots all around. I missed this one too, been too busy with baseball playoffs and work. Next time I'll put an entry in.

The suggestion you gave me for the next photo contest, is that what you'd like it to be, Surrealplaces? If so, I'll set up the next contest for next week!
