Be great if someone near DT PHX could get one for the team and take some updated pictures around downtown including the Thunderbird ASU building and dorm.

Is this all for student housing? Or is there some mixed used areas? I don't think it can be emphasized enough: The establishment of ASU downtown was and is such a huge, important development for downtown Phoenix.

They're student dorms and an entrepreneurial center for students. I believe they're also incorporating the BofA ATM into the ground floor exterior.

The pictures above are a dormitory for students but There will probably be some retail space that can be a restaurant or something.

The other building going on next to the Law School is the Thunderbird School of Management which was moved from its own independent facility on the west side to a new building downtown.

Good stuff in this article. Crow has been amazing for ASU.

If he can successfully implement the “Central Idea”, that would be amazing for downtown PHX.

Very disappointed in how this is turning out. I thought the facade appeared to be glass with horizontal lines that grew closer together as the height of the building increased. I was wrong. They are covering what I thought were all glass windows with some orange/tan facade and just leaving little slivers for windows. Will look like another stubby stucco jail. But it’s ASU, so I guess I’m not shocked.

I guess this is consistent with the renderings, but what the hell does ASU have against windows? You build that nice big building then don’t let people see outside. Really looks like. Prison with how small the windows are.

This website complains about every single thing. I like the building, the facade is pretty similar to the biomedical buildings which turned out great. But here we are complaining about something that isn't even finished.
