I got it! Thanks so much! I'll get all the other stuff over the course of the week!

I don't think most will get built unfortunately because it's Los Angeles but I'd love to be wrong. I think 1000 hill, 1045 Olive and maybe Angels Landing have a shot. Not sure about the others...
Brookfield's height really depends on where you are measuring it from. My original diagram on this site had it marked it as 695', but the mods made me shorten it to 655' since that's the height from 7th street. I don't know where the 735' figure comes from. You can see the elevation views here.

https://planning.lacity.org/pdiscase...b6e20119bc/pdd

As for 333 Fig, I am very dubious of it getting built, but Zimas has it marked as on hold, not terminated, so you never know.

Don't worry, going to get that one added when I have more time. I was actually wondering about it. Does the fact that city planning commission cleared it mean it is approved, or is it still just proposed?

Great update on proposed projects! Sadly, many of these will probably not get built as proposed or at all. I've also noticed that several projects that were recently completed(Both Onni projects) ended up being shorter then proposed, and that is also the case with the stalled Oceanwide projects(The two Condo towers are not 530').

I'm not sure it's been released yet? Could be wrong, though. I just haven't seen it anywhere.

Add the convention center hotel
Not sure what's up with the Morrison Hotel expansion and neighboring tower

If its Chinese money, I don't think these are happening

As I said earlier, the Chinatown tower seemed stalled, but drove by this morning and there is a small bobcat style loader that appeared since yesterday - so maybe some forward progress?

That Arts District project on 4th and Central might be my current favorite. Love that unique tower design and views from there of the downtown skyline should be spectacular.

What a great update! Downtown is booming! Thanks for sharing, Doctorboffin!

Is this New Sixth Street Viaduct and Park a new thing or it's just a retrofit?

1045 Olive will change the skyline. When the works start? Ditto for Angels Landing.

This 6 AM is far away from Downtown core. I guess it will help to bring development to this area.

Very original this 633 S. Spring Street.

Amazing stuff, Doctorboffin! As promised, I've updated the first thread with your massive update, and added the Flower Market project to the On Hold section based on the latest Urbanize LA thread. This looks pretty comprehensive, but there may be a few stragglers remaining. If you find them, post them here and shoot me a PM and will add to the front page when I have time. Thank you for putting this together!

If you scroll right in this picture of the Kurve from Urbanize LA, you can see (what I think is) Brookfield now rising on the skyline:

Yes, I noticed that as well! It looks like the Brookfield's core is up over 300' now.

Indeed that is Brookfield! it should get almost as high as the last setback of 777 Fig, so from that view will fill in that gap quite nicely.

If there is one city in the US that needs their projects delivered it’s LA. I pray everyone of them happens. Anyone one know which of the proposals is backed by Chinese money?

That took a lot of work! Much appreciated.

I single out 3 of the many projs you posted due to their location, current condition & likely support from mkt conditions making them the most important to me.

The oceanwide proj for obvious reasons....it remaining an unfinished hulk in dt is a major gap....the Olympia proj because it's on one of the most visible pieces of land in dtla....right next to the heavily traveled 110 fwy.....& the 4th & Hill proj because it's around the important visitor spots of grand central mkt & angel's flight, above a major station of the mta & should be easily rented up upon completion.

Those projs, the newer completed ones & ones hopefully breaking ground before everyone is too old give dtla a shot of energy that it never had even when it was still the center of the city....before burbanization....over 60-70 yrs ago.

This is another part of dt that has come alive over the past 5 yrs, the old commercial exchange bldg at 8th & Olive. I recall the long abandoned italian restaurant that sat on its ground level for decades...its sign was a rusting mess & the property was obviously in disrepair....it's disturbing just how dormant dtla was for yrs & yrs....it was competing with cities like Detroit, cleveland or st louis for most hollowed out or abandoned city center. I don't want to ever see that become a part of LA's history ever again.

Now in 2021 there are other classic bldgs in dt like the restored tower theater too. that's why in some ways dtla today is better than it has ever been in LA's 200-plus yr history.

He worked probably hours on this one. Thanks.

By the way.. what is Hunter doing nowadays? All his private channels are pretty much dead. Did he change his occupation?

Also the YT-Channel "Not in Potato Quality" (Cesar90) seems to be gone.
I am out of town, others stopped posting updates as well. We need to step up our game.
