Yes basically. Grand will be south to it. So just below the future 6 story office building. It could even be the 46 story tower pictured on that map but I'm not sure how the site will be setup.

The Grand would be the 46 storey tower marked on that last plan.

Thanks for making the thread!

182 metres! Better than I thought. It will make a decent pinnacle.

Really like this tower except for the protruding box, tired of that.

The podium is especially nice.

Like the Art Deco theme.

I believe that would make this tower the tallest in Surrey once built. Hopefully we see some taller proposals in the CBD area around civic plaza soon.

This one is off to council tonight with a 2026 estimated completion date.

I won't hold my breath on this getting built though with none of the other towers across the street having made any progress yet.

Other than the project being bigger (harder to sell/finance), it would lift the neighbourhood a lot more than the ones across KGB if this one were built before those.

ok.

What is Allure? there is a cleared site on KGH just south of the Liquor store that has fencing up that says Allure. Also Allure seems to be putting in a showroom on 108th just in the five corners area just off KGH.

As was said a few posts up, hate to be critical but knowing a lot of these project track records especially this developer, I'll believe it a little more when they start digging a hole and actually believe it when the crane starts going up.

I am still hopeful though. I mean this is the same developer that made us exciting with the development across the street then promptly put the entire development up for sale... also Tien Sher for those counting, has taken about 15 years to build 4 low-rise condo buildings. Most other developers can do 4 buildings in 4 years. Porte which is similar has built 8 similar sized buildings in less than 7 years alone. They are slllllloooowwwwwwwww

Exactly. So imagine if the City derails the first stage of the process. It would be agonizing.

For context, this tower will be the same height as Brentwood Three, making it Surrey's tallest as proposed right now.

Thanks,

I didn't realize that the atrium lines up with the heritage church across the street to create a view of it.

Also, driving up KGB hill, you may not see the protruding part much:

How long till we something start for this now? Two years?

How much notice do they have to give the tenants on-site before demolition can start? Hopefully the Liquor store stays close by.

Right now Tien sher seems to be concentrating on Q5, they have put up a lot of signs in the area,

I have a good feeling that Tien Sher is moving quick with this proposal given the 46 storey "The Grand" is proposed for the lot next door. Tien Sher cannot possibly be nonplussed given the market right now.
