Here's an angle of Regina in the core that doesn't show the main glass towers, not a very common view.

Nice little downtown. Would be nice to see a couple of newer glass towers to contrast with the abundance of 70's brick apartment buildings.

Saskatoon's population has grown considerably so far this century, but for some reason that hasn't translated into any real skyline growth. However, with the various proposals that have been floated including the 50+ storey one that SaskScraper recently posted, maybe that's about to start changing.

The towers on the left and right sides of the site in the below image are currently under construction in Saskatoon. The tower in the middle would be a new tallest for SK.

But this project is in the south end of downtown (opposite side) so they wouldn't impact the view in the images above by much. It would definitely be nice to get something new in the north end of downtown too.

^ That is a very nice project even if the centre tower doesn't get built as shown. But that certainly would be a crowning touch if it does end up getting built.

Fingers double crossed on the central tower proceeding as planned. It's just what Saskatoon needs to take the skyline up a notch.

I want to be able to do that here. Why not here!?!

Okay, a few years in Winnipeg, so I've got another five years to wait for it to show up here.
