That's a great location! Especially once Edith and the Hyatt garage "finally" break ground. That area will be electrifying.

Just around the corner, Pa'la is still moving forward. There are a lot vacant spaces from defunct nightspots (Bar Smith, Monarch, etc.) that have great potential.

New Pedal Haus location coming to DT Mesa, Main St./Robson taking over the auto shop on the SWC. That intersection continues to grow as the bar cluster in Mesa, as it joins Chupacabra, Oro and Cider Corps which are already at that same intersection.

Good news. I'm also glad to hear the Roosevelt Row location is still planned, but I can't figure our where it's going to fit in Monorchid.

In terms of food, I suspect both the Mesa and Phoenix locations will offer the same kind of streamlined menu as the Pedal Haus in Chandler. The original Tempe location has the capacity for a more extensive food program.

I think Pedal would be perfect in the new space at 5th street and Roosevelt right behind Taco Chello

It would, but I think I've read the plan is to go into Monorchid, along with related concepts like Sake Haus. I see Sake Haus and the adjacent coffee bar under construction there, but I just can't figure our where there's going to be room for Pedal Haus.

I remember reading somewhere (maybe this forum) that pedal haus was going to occupy the north side of monorchid but open up to the alley on the east. Walking by there the last few weeks they are doing significant work to the alley side of the building, looks like new entrances and overhang etc.

I don't think I knew that Pedal Haus was planning a downtown PHX location! That would make me very happy. Just need a Fate Brewing downtown now. It's gotta be on their radar.

I know Roses by the Stairs is opening soon too on 7th Ave and McDowell!

That’s correct, Pedal Haus will occupy the space on the north side of MonOrchid with a patio in the alley. It’s great to see this alley activated by something more than murals, it’s an uncommon sight here in Phx.

So I was at Kettle Black the other day and I met the GM of 810 Bowling, which is currently renovating Lucky Strike/Gypsy Bar. Basically, the Gypsy Bar side is going to be a full on sports bar. He literally said that side will be covered with TVs for every game. It will also have a mechanical bull and billiards. Obviously, they'll have continued use of the bowling alley. The one thing he said that stood out was that it's going to be super affordable.

I noticed that work has resumed on the Press Coffee store in the ground floor of the AZ Republic building. This was announced pre-pandemic and then seemed to be put on hold for a year. I'm glad to see it's still happening.
