Sorry for the glare. This is going to absolutely tower over the Northwest side of downtown.

The way the Old Town towers fill in that gap over there, perfection, we need more of that across downtown

Was on the Kennedy the other day and was surprised with how much the last Old Town building stood out.

I was driving in on the Kennedy and noticed that this thing will totally nuke the view of the Fordham, Chicago Place, and One Bennet Park from most angles. With one blast this will blow the beige barrier to bits

^ I've been joyously watching State St north of the river fill in. 20 years ago it was pretty ho hum, but State St looking north of the River has really filled/canyonized. This project in particular will add to that.

Nice shots spy! In the Hancock one you can see quite a few projects.

One Chicago already looks like an absolute unit of course. 369 Grand fits in nicely with that cluster. 450 LaSalle's dark glass is looking on point. The luxury condos at Bentham are even peaking up a bit.

I didn't fully appreciate how massive the podium is on this one. It's basically the same height as McDonald's new west loop HQ

Probably the only good thing coming out of my almost never coming to downtown Chicago any more (prior to March I’d be there monthly) is that when I finally do get there, I’m going to enjoy seeing projects like this one in person and how dramatically they impact the streetscape around them.

Last I saw they had moved to the West side of the site for extraction - will definitely check next time I make it over there.
