I can't stop loving this tower. It has impressed me as much as 1WTC has disappointed me.

Along with 53W 53, my favourite addition to the NYC skyline of the past 20 years.

the scaffoldless views of it when brooklyners get to look to the west are a real gothic treat to behold.

but for those of us with eastern facing views -- i cant wait for all the scaffolding to come down.

any guesses when that will be?

When they no longer need it.

Personally, I’m waiting for the lighting, which normally takes a while. But it will make this tower even more stunning.

Second that. Probably my favourite build in North America in the past two decades, along with 53 W 53.

New York is so damned lucky...

^ I agree. A lot of buildings to complain about, but the top of the crop makes the crappy ones worth while. I now want another high quality building in Downtown Brooklyn, something tall, maybe a 900 footer.

Well if 80 Flatbush lives up to the renderings it should be another very high quality tower, though a little lower than 900 at 840'

Agreed, the façade of 100 Flatbush looks really nice IMO so I expect 80 Flatbush to be similar.
