Dang, WTC is looking good. It's a shame they're still leaving those awful red-roofed Pizza Huts in Spanish Plaza, though. Let it be a real open space, for crying out loud...

The linear park looks good, too... and I am glad they are finally painting the Hilton parking garage. Have we ever seen a development proposal for those parking lots?

Thanks for all of the photo updates.

Fairmont Hotel for 1010 Common. Hasn't been a Fairmont in New Orleans since Katrina, so it's nice to see one coming back. Was worried the project would be a lower end brand, but Fairmont is a decent higher end hotel. Given the current situation, let's hope it is still on track.

those are being redone... so no worries will look much better.. rizzutos is turning it into a pizza place

Really appreciate the pics. Sidecar looks great, feel terrible for the owners of that/Rusty Nail. Legit great guys as far as I know, and they spent all the money to get that going at the worst possible time.

There hasnt been anything formal announced. But the plans were submitted a month ago and they recently showed up on the one stop shop. Given the fact these were recently submitted its safe to assume that this project is still moving forward. Wouldnt have been reasonable to submit in July otherwise.
