Multi-purpose athletic dome, highest located dome in Asia, located at TCU's campus site (over 300 Meter above the sea level).

However, I like the new NTU athletic dome better!

to me the model looks better than the actual building. i prefer the big transparent windows over the small windows. but overall not bad.

Based on Taiwan Ren's rendering, actually all the other designs look just as fine as the winning design IMO

I read from the government's website that the feasibility study was done based on Sidney's Olympic Stadium, in which the additional 15,000 seats were retracted after the opening of events. So, I wonder what was the final verdict on Kaoshiung's project? Will the reserve seatings be permanently fixed or retractable?

Based on the winning rendering, I don't see how it can be retracted after the event, in order to transform the unused seatings into an ample space for other userage.

My understanding is that the tender only required competitors to design for the possiblity of more seating - not include it. I guess this is the reason most of the design teams left the end of the stadium open.

It's suprising that Taiwan or even Taipei doesn't have a good stadium still now! For example, Taipei Stadium and Taipei Soccer Stadium look like 3rd world infrastractures.
