Someone asked about it. Maybe I put up too much info but that's the way I am. Anyways, back to Astra.

After almost a year, the developer finally gave a huge update. They are indeed going forward with the entire project but it has gotten a major redesign. The taller one has been tweaked a little but the biggest change is for the shorter one and it looks amazing. The final height is 541 feet for tower 1 and 425 feet for tower 2.

Construction should begin early 2024 if everything from now on goes smoothly. Hopefully no more delays.

Fingers crossed, as this project not only would give Phoenix a new tallest, but a 3rd tallest as well. The new design is an improvement, in my opinion. If the old Chase Tower gets refurbished, it'll definitely transform the skyline for the better.

What an improvement from the busy mess of a design!

The city just gave their final approval and overwhelming support for Astra and construction will begin next year. Everything should be good to go now unless something drastic happens. Phoenix is finally getting a new tallest after 50 years since our current one went up in 1973!

Awesome! It's wild that Phoenix is the 5th largest city in the US and it doesn't really have a skyline which I get with the FAA height limit. But still... it's wild
