Urbanizer you always managed to get great shots of our construction sites. Just wanted to say thank you and I don’t always comment but really appreciate your updates.

The Loren's webcam is now using a wider perspective with a great view of the skyline beyond the building. Several current projects are visible too.

Wow, that looks topped out -- or close. Shame they couldn't go higher.

Yeah, I think it was proposed for like 90' years back, right? But I'm actually okay with this. Low-height density, as many others have mentioned, is good if the street interaction is efficient and attractive. To have that kind of density going down the length of S. Lamar would be a win, in my opinion.

Yeah, fair. I guess my hope was that the closer we'd get to the CBD, we'd get fewer height restrictions -- regardless of which side of the river you're on. But generally speaking, I'm with you -- all for turning Lamar into a midrise canyon.

It'll be interesting to see if we get any height increases south of the river. The neighborhood associations seem pretty bullish against that, of course. I would think it's necessary at some point, especially for the Statesman site as well as along Riverside. We have to plan for future growth, for sure.
