To think about the potential of a WW3, if you wanted to take a simple, non nuclear explosive and drop it somewhere that within 100m it hits an area that would cripple the country Where would you drop it? What would be the only saving grace?

Seriously, I can't think of one single place in Canada where it would cripple the entire country.

But one of the most damaging would be the Port of Vancouver. Also locks along the St. Lawrence Seaway. There are some road and railway choke points and bridges.

Lol! Canada’s real centre of power!

They could nuke Okotoks but couldn’t destroy the big rock!

Dropping a bomb on Nipigon River Bridge would cripple the country’s capacity to move things on a east-west axis, but rebuilding the bridge wouldn’t take that long.

There is a main line CP railway bridge right beside. But CN has its main East-West line over 100Km to the North of there. (North of Lake Nipigon)

And that is the saving grace. Take out the highway and CP bridges, which are close to each other and it would cripple Canada for months.
