After counting floors yesterday, floor 39 is under the black tarp so it's getting close. The core should go up to 41, so probably 20ish more feet, and the steel will go probably another 20 above that for the rest of the mechanical penthouse and the crown. She tops out in June!

Phone photo from yesterday:

EDIT: Two more!

Another view of the Broadway Station development. This time from the corner of Lincoln and Arizona.

Wow. My favorite to to be at DUS is right around 4 when hundreds of construction workers are leaving their jobs. Really puts into perspective the impact theres projects are having.

I cannot remember if this has been mentioned but it looks like another it looks like Ascent Union Station is on the verge of breaking ground. Earth moving equipment is on site and the staging site has been set up on one lane of the road.

Is this commercial strip along Speer also slated for re-development yet?

The Paradise Living website has also been updated with the new renderings, including this beauty.

The number of shady characters involved in this thing is too hard to ignore.

Random Denver nightclub owner with a sketchy gmail address.

Bankrupt miami beach real estate developer who had a number of properties go into foreclosure. His promotional handbook includes several spelling errors and many pixelated picture of rather dilapidated looking buildings.

Buzz Gellar - who never does anything. And says things like 'well I can buy a bunhc of them if I want. Or not. I mean I can do what I want'.

Ridiculous '25%' discount for pre ordering.

Ok, THIS is the exact rendering I saw. Yeah, I tend to agree with the skepticism here. I think I put my contact information in (as I am slowly starting to think about my first purchase as a millennial). However, I never heard a peep back about this project. The article posted this morning also seems a bit too "Yeah, we plan on breaking ground here any day!". We don't know where in the city process this thing is at. Plus, as someone who is authentically interested in a unit in the building, I haven't heard a peep from anyone regarding pre-sales.

But hey, it's a major condo proposal for Denver. Maybe this is the beginning of a trend that will help bring more large-scale projects on board.

Oh great. In the era of "fake news" we now have (possibly) fake development projects. LoL. Crazy times.

We've had fake development projects before- if there's a hot market and equity looking for a home shadiness abounds. One Lincoln Park is a good example of shadiness actually paying off. This might be another such situation.

They did do a fair amount of work on the marketing page, though for all I know somebody simply copied stuff from another development.

Given the work that has been done (and the CREJ treatment of the project as legitimate) and the mixed history of real developments by the developers, its probably too harsh to call it "fake." Perhaps a better word is "speculative" to be greeted with a lot of skepticism that the owners/developers can actually pull it off as currently conceived.

Was recently driving down Blake between Park Ave and Broadway and noticed a bunch of construction. Does anyone know what's going in there? Didn't there used to be a warehouse?
