That's one funky looking building.

To be honest, I don't care for the red. Just staying with the off-white would keep it from ever getting dated.

Wow! Gorgeous. Glad to see Mississauga showing that the Monroe towers weren't a fluke

Great use of colour and it isn't all glass! Hope this one gets through.

I am loving this as well! Very contemporary. Mississauga is getting some very cool projects. Good to see TO doesn't get them all.

The Maze? Looks more like The Mistake. It's not yet built and already is looking dated. Just think how bad it will be in a few years once the sun has faded that red to some off pink colour. It's got potential, but needs an overhaul to not look like some bad fad in the not too distant future.

Looks great, but unfortunately it is located in Mississauga. What a waste of a good design, like the "Marilyn Monroe" towers.

Who is building this thing? The tower is decent but look at the podium, it looks like an 80s strip mall. This one needs some serious revisions to the way it meets the street.

It could end up looking dated quite quickly but that would a risk worth taking. However, Coaster said, it needs to meet the ground better.

It looks like its on The Collegeway, in which case it would make no sense to build it to the lot line or have retail in the base.

It's actually located in the heart of Cooksville, in the ghetto part of Mississauga, check it out on the Google Street View:

http://goo.gl/maps/CLEnf

It could meet the street better, but these are just small side streets, not the main thoroughfares.

I'm not advocating it has streetfront retail but there is no excuse for the grade level parking seen on the right side of the render.

The tower is unique, even if not my cup of tea, but a little tweak would be nice on the ground level. Lose the parking and increase the visual appeal/add townhomes on the first level.

This building is for the birds.

The birds really seem to like it. Maybe the pigeons dig the balconies/ledges.

That parking/driveway is pre-existing and belongs to the adjacent property to the east. It has nothing to do with this project.

The website says:

Quote:
THE NEW LUXURY
to Mississauga Road and Dundas Street.

55 fortunate condo owners will experience customized condominium units overlooking the
CREDIT RIVER & ERINDALE PARK.
That's nowhere near the location you showed. It's probably a good 3 miles away.

^ That's a totally different project.

One of the renderings in the slideshows even shows the pre-existing orange/brown-bricked high rise at the NW corner of 10 and Agnes. This building is definitely located on Agnes St.

Is this proposal still happening? Looks dead like so many other proposals near it. Atleast this would've added density and an alright design to a crummy area.
