After a decent period of intensive preparation, with the support of Danang people’s Committee and other relevant departments, on 25 July 2009, Vien Dong Land JSC solemnly held the groundbreaking ceremony of Vien Dong Meridian Towers Building at 84 Hung Vuong – Hai Chau District – Danang City.
The investor of this project is Vien Dong Land, with the capital contributions of Vien Dong Investment Consultancy & Technology Transfer JSC (Vien Dong Corp.), Trung Nam Construction Investment JSC (Trung Nam Group) and Saigon Telecommunication & Technologies Corp (Saigon Tel).
Vien Dong Building will have 48 floors and 3 basement floors with the height of 220m, expcted to become the highest building in the Central once accomplished and put into operations. Its multi-purpose facilities include a deluxe commercial center, an international convention center, luxury hotels, top-notch apartments and Grade A offices. The total investment of this project reaches up to $180 million.
The major sponsors highly regarded the distinguished characteristics of this site. Danang is a potential city in investment and development. However, available locations at the commercial district are quite rare. Therefore, the excellent location of this building is a noticeable advantage against other real estate investment projects being implemented in Danang.
Presently, Danang is attracting scores of investment projects, mostly tourism and resort service projects. The billions-dollar projects among which have become the bull’s eye of the local investment landscape and they are expected to serve as the economic springboard for the Central region.

The international convention center can accommodate 1500 people with modern equipment.
The groundbreaking ceremony will take place at 09:00, 25 July2009. The prompt construction demonstrated the commitments of the big shareholders to implement the project timely, punctually and in compliance with the set purposes, so as to quickly put the project into operations.
