I hope your City Center turns out better than ours did (Houston Pavilions). It was supposed to have residential and office towers, but the office towers were cut. It's ok. Not worth the money for such a cheesy plaza. However it's three less surface lots.

Louisville looks good, guys! Keep it up!

There's a link. It's not nearly as impressive as it shows in the renderings and the only "tower" that was built was the low-rise in the middle. They've had a hard time filling space in this place.

Thank goodness!! That was the ugliest, graceless, most inelegant building I have ever seen and it would have forever ruined the Louisville skyline. All Louisville locals should be thanking their lucky stars that abomination didn't happen!

I've been visiting Louisville several times this year... first time I'd ever been to Kentucky. I was very impressed and fascinated with the city, I was especially impressed with the beautiful skyline. Personally, from an outsider's point of view that Museum Plaza project is one of the downright ugliest, tackiest projects I've ever seen, and would've completely ruined Louisville's otherwise gorgeous skyline. It just looked horrifically out of place, and incredibly distracting to the beauty of the downtown core.

Based on my experiences, I really enjoyed my travels to Louisville, and as my folks now live near the area, I'll be travelling there quite frequently in the future, and I definitely look forward to it.

No, the ugliest skyscraper award belongs to those twin towers with the red and white beacon things on top.

Louisville fascinates me though, perhaps because its so unknown and unfamiliar. All I know about the city is that back the early 90s when I was a kid my dad went there on business, and came back saying it was a dump. I'd hope its changed at least a little. Anyways, restoring some of those blocks of warehouses along the river would make downtown Louisville pretty impressive from an urbanist standpoint.

I don't know what it was like in the early 90s, but I visited there for the first time last year. I found Louisville to be a good looking city with a nice vibe. Like any city, there are spots that need patching up, but the city is certainly not a dump.
