LOL at the last "secret" pic. Really great set, thx.

I googled the Buffalo Blues Jays... I had no idea you guys already have 2 World Series Championship rings. Talking Proud.

P.S. the new Seneca tower colours (aka colors), are a home-run.

Drove down Delaware today. Pretty busy. Pulled over and rode my bike to avoid traffic. The parking garages downtown are all closed. With no security you can take the elevators to the top and ride down them all. Unfettered. I had a riot.

Not a reclad. The building was purchased by a new developer and in the last year has been modifying many of the floors, converting one wing to apartments, adding retail spaces, etc. It is in the process of having a new paint/epoxy surface applied, and is about 2/3 completed. There was some criticism in painting the surface, and in choosing the colors, but in general people seem pretty happy with the appearance.

I forgot to mention that the developer is Doug Jemal, who has taken a recent interest in Buffalo after performing a lot of development and preservation work in DC. He has several other projects going on in Buffalo right now besides the tower, including a couple downtown (former police HQ and Hotel Statler).

It has been over 2 years since I updated this set from downtown. There have been no dramatic changes, short of downtown emptying out of people during COVID and gradually filling in again. Lots of infrastructure work completed and ongoing, a couple of new projects completed, many more on the drawing board, though most of the ongoing development in the city is happening in other neighborhoods (Niagara, Elmwood, Mid-Main, University, and East Side).

A few images taken since my last Downtown posting, beginning oldest first, including a couple taken as late as today.

Seneca One after bankruptcy, repaint, and with new apartment additions now nearly fully occupied.
