Does anybody know if the church is planning to rebuild the stone staircase that used to go down to Grafton Street now that they will be getting more money from this development? The area in front of the church looks a little sad right now. It would look great if restored to its original appearance, complete with cast iron fence, but I don't know how likely that is to happen.

Crane started going up yesterday. I was expecting it to be a little taller. You can't see it at all walking along Brunswick Street until you are right at the site.

IIRC: very. I think the owner of that building might have tried to appeal or some such, based on blocking the windows. But, unfortunately for them, ya don't own the view.
