This project has been altered. Halifax has negiotiated a land purchase from the property owners for what will be Dundas Street Extension project. They've lost a chunk of the property so in exchange they are seeking more height.

Halifax Planning Case 22875 - 15 Canal Street, Dartmouth

This project is finally going forward for approval. The development agreement public hearing will be held soon. Unfortunately there are no renderings or site plans in the report.

Also this will front onto what will be Patuo'qn Street.

Wow, this seems big. Would 30 storeys make it Dartmouth's tallest?

Is that the name of the Dundas Street extension which is planned, or is it the intention to re-name all of Dundas once it's been extended? If you happen to know, of course.

For now, at least, but there are others planned which would be slightly taller.

And it'll have the 27-storey King's Wharf tower now rising a few hundred feet down Alderney Drive as a neighbor. Will definitely change the look of that stretch of road.

The development agreement has been approved by Harbour East Community Council. MOSAIK PROPERTIES (the owner) is saying construction will commence in 2025 likely at the same time as Patuo'qn Street.
