I always thought Downtown LA would look great on Long Beach's shoreline.

Los Angeles Skylines

If all the Skylines in LA were combined:

(yes, I'm missing all but two from the valley)

Actually, Sears and the ESB make a good pairing, providing a great skyline anchor with a combo that represents corporate might of both early and late 20th century. They almost have a Staunton effect, where that tall old tower is offset by the modern office hunk right next to it.

gives a great perspective on just how much density does exist within the city. the number of skyscrapers is actually pretty impressive. aggregated together, los angeles is just as impressive as most other skyscraper-famous cities

it aint no hong kong or nyc, but then again your photoshop doesnt seem to put LA that far behind.

Welcome to New Angels!

This one is a secret photo (hacked into NASA last night) captured by that rover on Mars. As you can see, there has been life there once...

Icons of Los Angeles

Here are what I consider to be the LA Icons. I would be interested to know if you think I left something out or if you think some should be replaced.

Is it me, or does San Antonio have the most numerous amount of early 20th century brown utility poles on the planet? Take a picture from anywhere in the city and you'll get them propped up somewhere. How much would it cost to bury these suckers along the ten busiest roads in SA?
