First off, I knew that he was Italian, that was part of the joke.

Secondly, what exactly is their race then? "Indigenous"? "Native"? "Aboriginal"?

Oh I know that the indigenous peoples of the Americas are a distinctive race or races.

There just isn't a clear name for them, and Americans is not it, and it is not up to me to find one.

Oh my god, they're post-racial!!!

You know what my favourite thing is about you, Jack? If I ever want a correct answer on something, I just have to post something wrong about it and you appear to correct me. I don't say this often enough, but thank you!

posters on this board, and Canadians in general, certainly aren't shy about telling everyone about about how 'distinct' they are from 'those Americans'.. ergo, Canadians and Americans are separate races.

tbqh, both countries are ethnically diverse AF now, so the differences between the two are largely social. For instance:

Canadians tend to be timid, more than happy to fork over a majority of their earnings to offload responsibility for the health and safety of their homes and families to the state, perfectly willing to disarm themselves in the hopes they'll live long enough to have the end years of their lives dragged out by 'get what you pay for' health care...
but hey, at least it's free!

Americans are of course the brasher of the bunch, perfectly happy to shoot the state if they barge in unannounced, or anyone else for that matter! Take care of you and yours, till you can't.
Healthcare? why bother dragging out the end years.. in and out of doctors offices and hospitals, dragging your poor family down for the ride..
American 'elder care' may not be free, but it's cheap and decisive

How can I be sure this isn't just you trying to build your electoral support, one person at a time? You've already lined up lio who keeps saying he'd vote for you!

It's been referenced many times by police in Manitoba. I'll take their word for it over yours any day. Homemade guns are another problem that is creeping up with regularity.

PS you might want to seek some medical help before your paranoia gets out of control

A double shooting last night in quiet Cote-st-Luc two blocks from me. One guy in critical and the other stable.

We had a stabbing death here last year but shooting are pretty much un-heard of.

Nobody heard anything. What could have been done to the gun to make that happen?

we had another yesterday. Across from my office. A stabbing after a Death Metal Concert.

I believe we are at 19 this year.
