Let's compare the 2 so far:

Is the middle entranceway still being added? Hard to tell from the construction.. I like the entranceway - makes it feel like a mall entrance to a condo..

Very nicely done so far.

The west tower is complete and appears to be fully occupied. Pictures from this afternoon

I think these are pretty much the tallest buildings for either Garth or Rymal...

Wow very nice!

The bare concrete balconies would have been nice if they at least had painted the bottoms of them white though. But overall very nice!

Very nice - now it just needs some landscaping

Looks kinda lonely with nothing around it - although I am sure that will change over the years.

There is lots around it, you just can't see it in this picture. This building was infill in an already built up area.

lol... I just realized these are not twin towers, just now I realized the one fronting on Rymal steps down as you go west. I wonder why they made this decision? Is there some important sight line that needed to be preserved? Or did they purposely want each tower to be different?

I don't know anything about these, but my guess would be that they had to step down in order to be in scale with the houses to the west. Looking at the building from Google Streetview it looks to have a fairly standard 45 degree angular plane drawn from the west lot line.

Also, I'm a bit perplexed that these are aesthetically popular. They're good density, and they're rentals, so they get a thumbs up from me on that regard, but I can't help from feeling that they look pretty grim...

I'm giving this one a strong golf clap. Very happy to see some height again being built on the mountain, makes so much sense on main artery and transit route. Design-wise nothing too exciting.

OMG totally wtf!?

Also I agree with HamiltonForward the density and rentals is great but the design is big ole NO for me. Thanks for the explanation regarding the step down height that makes a lot of sense.
