Did they paint the brick on 23/25 or is it just the lighting? Looks like there is a lot more contrast on it now compared to the previous photo.

Went by here today - they have painted all the particle board parts white and there are connector metal strips on literally every surface of the building now. Looks like they are ready to add the finishing facade!

The building actually does feel pretty substantial close up

Also they have blocked off king william street and are using it as a giant patio for all the restaurants on both sides of the road. Pretty smart idea.

Went by here yesterday - the front entranceway is getting thin brownish grey coloured granite veneer slabs put on - at least it's some type of stone - they're only about half a cm thick. but maybe 3-4 feet high with spaces in between them for molding like on the lister block - they're simply flat though, no decorative details like on the lister.

Also it looks like businesses are already moved in - you can see stuff in the windows and one had the blinds drawn down in one whole section - so hopefully this will be done soon

Well, the old Robinson's site is Wilson-Blanchard but, yes, two very exciting gap fills to wait for. Unless it's done badly in which case we'll wish it were left empty...

Doesn't look like there has been much change on the outside.. they seem to be focusing more on the interior lobby atm..

Looks like the facade is nearly done. Unfortunately you can't really see in the pictures, but the metal panels have some sort of texture to them and aren't perfectly flat as they appear in photos.

Some of the pictures came out blurry... sorry about that.

I think it's good they didn't try to replicate Lister, nor compete with it design-wise. This isn't an exciting building, but it's good to have something this large and non-restaurant on King William.
