Has Core Urban re-named this building yet? Ex. Templer Flats, Textile building, King James, etc.

I've been wondering the same thing for a while now. It looks like "ribs" were added and some of the original concrete panels were either removed or have had work done on them, but only part-way up. Given the other changes to window cladding and balconies I wonder if the plan is to re-panel the concrete, and Homestead is just taking its time with the job? Perhaps the lower section required more immediate work, given the rust streaks apparent in the 2014 view?

From Streetview:
April 2014 (last pic before the change)
August 2016
June 2019

It would be amazing if they re-panel this building! But only if it's done properly.... Imagine a nice painted back glass !

What existing panels need re-panelling? All I see is brick.

At first I thought the same thing - why does this need a recladding? However on further thought I think he was talking about Landmark Place which could definitely use a rethink...

I think you will find that the top half of Landmark Place IS finished. That's all it's getting. They are working from top, down.

What I was referring to was the entire exterior of the building would be nice if it was redone like the BMO building in Toronto did a few years back

Fire at former Tailgate Charlie’s

Fire in exterior wall of office building renovated by Forge and Foster

01 February 2020 01:14 PM by Joanna Frketich The Hamilton Spectator

A fire broke out in a newly-renovated downtown office building Saturday morning.

There were no injuries in the blaze at 69 John St. S which is at the corner of Jackson Street East.

"After a quick and aggressive attack the fire was quickly knocked down," said assistant deputy chief Shawn De Jager.

The fire was discovered in an exterior wall after 11 a.m.

The cause is currently unknown.

The building formerly housed restaurant Tailgate Charlie's and night clubs Liquid Kitty and Baroque.

Industria and the current nightclub Zen were expected to be open Saturday night.

The building was updated in 2018 and also includes offices.
