Ya, i have to say i'm starting to hate SU. It crashes 10 mins max after i open Scottsburg, and honestly i find that i just have been getting bored with modeling lately.

Maybe i'll just save $1000 and buy Cinema 4d

Or download it illegally. It's not like there is a huge company backing it up that'll come hunt you Down.

I think the concept is novel, I'm just not sure a whole lot of people know about it. I think most people see Sketchup as being a tool to model your home or backyard or whatever, not for modeling cities. Maybe if they marketed it in that direction, more people'd get into it. I dunno...

Maybe we just need to scout out some new members and get this place and hobby known!

But yes, I do miss the good old Palm Dunes, Otahita, Sabal Island, Praesidium days...

Also, it's interesting to see that Skyscrapercity's 3D design forums seem a lot more active than here. More members? I dunno...

I've been busy, as usual, but now specially busy since I've moved to an own appartment. nice view. I might have some time to finish some designs now.

While lurking unsigned I notice way too many jonas brothers banners. Is that deliberate, are the mods trying to scare people away to protect our little niche?

Damn, I've been into Daft Punk so much lately. It brings back good memories and now I wanna go see them. If they ever come to Washington I'll HAVE TO drive out there to see them. I'll need some LSD too! Just look at their videos! Fucking trippy!

My favorite song by them. I love this music video. Fucking genius. There are no flaws and the entire thing is trippy, calming, and just damn!

Another one of my favorite songs. The video's kinda crap but the song is amazing. Again, I just feel like doing drugs and dancing.

A better video but less of a good song. Still pretty tight!

And just a random song I liked. It's VERY girly but what the hell. It's just really wild. Is this where Bruno got the song for his commercials?

So I discovered why One More Time and Harder, Better, Faster, Stonger have those weird blue people. It's from a movie called Interstella 5555 and I watched yesterday. It's kinda weird. I like it and I don't.

I mean, it's good for anime. And I don't like anime. Let me rephrase that, I HATE anime. But this movie was like woah!

Man this forum has really become dead. It was an abrupt spike from fall ’06 to winter ’08 and has just gone down from there quickly. I’m hoping some newcomers will emerge and we’ll get another summer ’07 repeat.
