Maui - Part II

This day, we decided to go up to a volcano crater in Haleakala National Park.
















































These two volcanoes (left to right) are 80 and 100 miles away, respectively.








See the moon?




We went to a beach south of Kihei, by La Perouse Monument. Yeah, it's cooled lava.






We got hungry, so we pulled over to a roadside stand and ordered fish tacos. We also ordered 2 coconuts and they cut them up right there. We drank the juice from the coconuts and ate the inside. We also had ice cream snow cones. Ha. Oink.

Nah. To get to the observatories, we would have had to take another long winding road. We weren't that interested in them anyhow.
