Photos taken Thursday evening, 3.25.2021.

We had drinks at our neighborhood pub; it was almost surreal doing so inside, which we hadn't done since before the beginning of the pandemic.

The Rialto in South Pasadena is being fixed up... at least the outside is. I don't know what's being done on the inside, which for the last number of years, has been leased to a weird cult church called Mosaic. Their "worship services" are really just bad Christian rock concerts. I wish they would just go away.

Bristol Farms is our go-to market. We can walk to it from our apartment.

Hehe OK... why'd you have to mention The Cookie?

Random photos I took this morning, Saturday, 4.3.2021. It's early spring... so it's marine layer time.

Living in the LA area is great if you're into celebrities; particularly dead ones. I've never bothered to look it up, but LA must have the highest concentration of celebrity grave sites in the US. Ever since I was a teen, I liked going to cemeteries and looking at graves of celebs and notable people. This is just one cemetery, and I only took pictures of a few graves of notable people, because this particular cemetery is chock-full of graves of notable people.

Westwood Memorial Park.

You know those restaurants where the food is really good and the employees are really nice, but for some reason, a lot of the clientele is annoying? Well, this is one of those places. Dinner this evening, Tuesday, 4.6.2021.

Westwood Memorial Park is so incredibly tucked away amongst the office buildings and low slung residences of Westwood. Doesn't have nearly the profile of Hollywood Forever Cemetery, but certainly can match it in star power. Westwood Memorial Park and Greystone Mansion were two of my favorite, free, completely unexpected places to take visitors when I lived in West LA.

Yes, LA cemeteries can be great places to take visiting relatives and friends. Some of the cemetery staff, guards and gardeners alike, will even approach you and ask if you're looking for a specific grave, and they will gladly direct you. Only Glendale Forest Lawn actively discourages giving visitors directions to celebrity graves, and even prohibits taking pictures inside the mausoleums, but of course people sneak taking pictures anyway. I have yet to see it, but I would like to see Michael Jackson's grave...
