^I was driving down the 400 the other day near Steeles and Eau de Soleil (the tallest existing building in that cluster) loomed on the horizon like it was just within reach, even though it was about 15 km as the crow flies.

One of the ironies about Toronto's secondary skylines getting taller is that the city will actually begin to feel "smaller" when you navigate around, because these taller buildings will appear to be closer in perspective.

Another example of that is that you can see 1 Bloor West very clearly from Albion road in Rexdale. Rexdale always felt psychologically like a distant corner of the City of Toronto, so being able to anchor it to a downtown skyscraper seems to shrink the distance somewhat.

Future Ottawa skyline from Dow's Lake with many of the proposals along the Trillium Line all the way to Bayview.

Gladstone/loretta and claridge Hintonburg height and placement are rough guesses. If @ericmacm could take a shot from this vantage point on his model then I could adjust to have the perfect heights

Also finished up the balconies on the icon as its seemingly never going to be done by claridge.

A few future Dow's Lake skyline shots from the new Civic presentation. Several mid-height buildings are missing from the shots.

Screenshots taken from the presentation by an Ottawa forumer, and posted on Rail Fans Canada Discord.

Every major projects under construction in Montreal's core (only UC, no project just approved or proposed). That's 15 120+m. under construction.

These models were made by Windex at agoramtl.com Please read his entry to learn how to play with his model on GoogleEarth :-)
