Skyscraper_1: A SSP Honored Member

Hi, everyone, I have some very unfortunate news to report. Skyscraper_1, my best friend, roommate, and SSP regular since 2004 passed away on April 17th due to suicide.

Skyscraper_1 and I first met on the sister site SSC, and talked nearly everyday since. We lived together from the beginning of last July until she died. In adition to being the closest friend I've ever had, she had a love of plants, gardening, urban design, economics, and was very passionate about the future of Halifax and Nova Scotia. SSP has long been a very significant part of her life, and gave her a great deal of happiness, and for that, I'd like to thank you all. Skyscraper_1 will never be forgotten, and forever be missed.

Btw, I apologise for waiting so long to tell you all, but I just wasn't ready to talk about it.

My god... I'm so sorry.

I looked up her posting history and realized that she and I were in a discussion just the day before.

My most sincere condolences.

Wow. I hardly knew her, but I feel a tremendous sadness right now...

A fine member of this community, and this city has been lost.

I didn't know either of you two, but I'm terribly sorry to hear that. My condolences.

Kinda puts things in perspective here, I think.
