Panoramic pictures that you've taken.

I believe we haven't had a thread like this before.

Anyway, I'm starting to learn how to take and stitch panoramas together. I have done 4 so far, but it will definitely be more in the future.

Hong Kong Island Panorama. This one was impossible to 'correct' in my computer. I guess I must have been drunk when I took it.

Hangzhou West Lake Panorama. Obvious mistake by using different exposure times for the individual frames.

Moscow Panorama.

Shanghai (well, it shows a tiny bit of the western parts of the central city) Panorama.

NOTE: This thread's purpose is to show photos that you have taken yourself.

Aww, shucks, I'll go.

Death Valley from Zabriskie Point, earlier this Spring

A much earlier pano from Guadalupe Mts. Nat'l Park, taken with a manual SLR and scanned, then stitched

A Teton pano I've posted before:

And Enchanted Rock, from the TX Hill Country:

I only do cities that start with S. Sorry, that's just how I feel.

Sarnia

Santiago

Saskatoon

Nunavut (not a city, so the 'S' rule is waived)

Here are some from New York City back in April. The Canon photostitch program I used (which
came with my camera) is not the greatest. I need to update to a better stitching program.

And here are some older panoramas shot with inferior cameras and even worse photo stitching software.

I'm not that good at pans. I've never made a real panorama, where the angle coverage is very wide. What I actually made are composite images where I use a telephoto lens and make a very large image of something that could be photographed in a single picture with a wider lens.

But here are some I've done

The last one was taken with my old camera (Sony F717)

All of these were stitched manually in Photoshop. I haven't had any luck with automatic panorama software.

I can never make my big panoramics level. For panos that use 8 or more pics, they always end up not being level. I used my tripod for these, and they still end up with the horizon not being level. The program I use is part of Paint Shop Pro, it's an automatic stitch. How can I stitch it manually with Paint Shop Pro?

Here's a few more.

Vertical panoramic of the crane for 360 Condominiums.

And I like these "mini" panos that show the entire skyline in context.

great thread and great work everyone..

not to be a wet blanket or anything, but if we're going to be able to enjoy this thread, we really need to use thumbnails... by the time everyone post their biggest and baddest pans...well..it'll be like looking at one of my threads... way too friggin' big, mb wise..

more on the way.. just having to re-edit a few things..

this was shot this morning around 0630

OK, I'll follow Ninja's advice and post two additional panoramas as clickable thumbnails. These are both of Birmingham from the spring of 2004, shot with my old camera. I really need to retake these with my 350D.
