Would love to see more development between Wellington & Wentworth x King & Main.

I put forward the motion for the convenience store/sex shop plaza to be eliminated, the Ontario Works building across the street and the corner of King/Wellington empty lot (believe it needs remediation). Just those three areas with some 10-20 floor builds would really spruce up the dead zone.

But where will we get our paraphernalia?

What would've made this development even better is if it were a couple blocks up towards James St. in one of the parking lots there. KW from James to John is great, but from John to Jarvis is underwhelming comparatively speaking. Of course this problem would be solved if we get more developments to fill in the gap.

This is just a tower tipped on its side. Would have been nicer units (with better views and light) both here and at 1 Jarvis if they were allowed to go taller/skinnier.

First photo had me starring for a good two minutes on calibration, neat angle. Gives a good perspective and also hope for more quality builds towards Wellington

Is it just me or is this thing going up a lot quicker than most other condos/developments?

It will certainly have a nice big (and needed) presence to the downtown core.

This and CoreUrban's new building on Augusta St. are really shooting up, it's exciting to see the profound change they're bringing to their respective streets.

This one really fits nicely with the International Village. Could totally see more developments close to the Village as there's quite a bit of parking lot candidates between Hughson and Wellington. Would become quite the nice little contained area.

The United Way building is for sale currently.
